Welcome to
, the Northeastern University Pre-Medical Advising Program.
The purpose of this website is to provide information to current Northeastern students and alumni/ae about medical school requirements and the application process.
Students who wish to study medicine (including dentistry, optometry, osteopathy, podiatry, and veterinary medicine) need to plan and prepare as early as possible in their academic careers to select the appropriate premedical courses and to take advantage of opportunities to explore medicine and medical research while studying at Northeastern.
In addition, the Premedical Advising program at Northeastern is designed to facilitate the medical school application process. Students may access on-line resources, attend workshops and presentations, seek individualized advising, and network with other premedical students, current medical students, and medical professionals. There are also myriad opportunities to explore medicine through university programs such as Co-op, Directed Study, the Honors Program, Study Abroad, and Service-Learning as well as through volunteer or job opportunities at hospitals, clinics, and research centers in Greater Boston and around the world.
, Northeastern's personalized online resource that empowers students to manage the medical school application process. Students will receive their account information on MedAppTrak after attending an orientation session. See the Calendar for the next orientation.
