How to Get an Account

Having a MedAppTrak account assures that you have identified yourself as a Northeastern University student or Alum who is planning for a future career as a healthcare professional.

There are three steps to follow in order to obtain a MedAppTrak account. Please pay attention to the instructions on this page to obtain a MedAppTrak (MAT) account in a timely manner.

Thank you

  • Click on the PreHealth Program Orientation Podcast on this page.

  • You may find it helpful to follow along and make notes using this Orientation Checklist.

Please Note: In requesting a MedAppTrak account, you acknowledge that you have carefully listened to the orientation podcast, made notes, and have bookmarked the PreHealth website in your internet browser.

Whenever you have questions about the PreHealth Progam at NU or about specific requirements pertaining to your field of medicine, please be sure to visit the PreHealth website for answers before contacting the PreHealth program.

  • Download/print the Northeastern University PreHealth Program Agreement. Please review the information, guidelines, and general requirements of the PreHealth Program, and sign where indicated, on page 2.
  • Return the completed form to the PreHealth Program. You may scan it and e-mail it to prehealth@neu.edu, fax it to 617-373-4022, or drop it off in the Biology Department Office (134 Mugar – Attn: Judith Woolfson.) Please be sure to keep a copy for your files.
  • Please Note:
You will receive a MedAppTRAK (MAT) account only after you submit a signed agreement AND a headshot photo in jpg format [size: 85 pixels(w) by 95 pixels(h)]. File name should be last name and first name (e.g., smith_alice).

Please allow up to 10 business days for your account to be created.

Thank you. We look forward to working with you.
